George R. Roberts is the billionaire co-founder of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, the second largest private equity firm in the world. He and his partners have led the firm in its growth into a leading global alternative asset manager. Roberts' involvement in the RJR Nabisco deal was profiled prominently in the book and movie, Barbarians at the Gate.
