Description:The Frisco Jetport (FFJ) was built in 1986 during the Dallas development boom but found itself encroached by residential development by the 1990s. Never fully developed after falling into disuse following the S&L crisis of the day, it was finally closed in 2001. Most of the what's left of the runway and taxiways are in a deteriorated state, but there's now a helipad for Life Flight where the only hangar used to be located.
