Map thumbnails are cached images from Google Maps, Bing Maps and Yahoo Maps. They are intended to provide a quick overview of the location.

Submitted location information becomes the property of VirtualGlobetrotting.com and may not be used without permission from VirtualGlobetrotting.com.

Map Changes and Removal

Map titles, descriptions and more info links come from unverified sources and are not to be taken as fact. You may request changes or updates to a map's title, description, more info link by either leaving a comment on the map's info page or contacting the administrators.

If your private property is listed on the website and you wish to have it removed, we can scrub all personal information from a post (removing the location, city, and links to the real map page) -- please contact the administrators (no threatening letters necessary).

Pic and Story Submissions

Users who submit Pics and Stories give VirtualGlobetrotting.com the right to display their images and stories on VirtualGlobetrotting.com.
