In the April of 1993 I was in England for the Helicon (a science fiction convention) held that year in the island of Jersey. I flew there from Gatwick in a Jersey Airlines BAe 146 with my then girlfriend (we are married now) and while looking out of window just after take off I saw an Avro Shackleton and some other aircraft in midst of greenery. Now at last I know what I was looking at.
