When I was in elementary school our class would go here every year for a field trip. About the only think I remember about it though is the whale sized carp in the fountains. :)
Caserta was used as the location for Queen Amidala's Royal Palace on Naboo in the 1999 film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and again in the 2002 film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones as Queen Jamilla's palace.
I doubt this is the real one. If you read the wiki article they are only building one and it won't fly until 2012. Companies like this don't take their single prototype and put it on a street corner.
The Road-Scanner fulfils the following requirements:
- Obtaining high quality geo-referenced data;
- Surveying at the same time the vehicle route, the pavement and the roadside assets;
- Developing an efficient imaging system with high potentialities;
- Obtaining a complete system thanks to the integration with the post-processing application Road-SIT;
- Producing geographical databases compatible with the most widespread GIS systems.

Wow. This post has so much going on in it. Check out the graffiti on the left, the copper pod (ocean rescue pod?) in the center, the old rail car to the right and the sketchy guys hanging out to the far right. Cool.
If they are thieves they are the most safety conscious on record. There are traffic cones in the road in both directions warning traffic to slow down. :)
You are posting a lot of brew pubs. These may or may not brew beer. Most don't have More Info links so there is no way for the moderators to check. The instructions said "no brew pubs." Please slow down a bit and take the time to post breweries and not brew pubs. I'm looking at the comments in the sidebar on these maps in Google. Most just mention the food. If they are serving food then it isn't a brewery and will only count (per the instructions if there is visible brewing equipment...
Building in thumb isn't the brewery. http://tinyurl.com/862j7rb shows a different building. On the satellite view it looks like the brewery is accessed through the arch on the right end of the building in the thumb.
Since I said that entrance gates will be allowable I'll let this one be allowed since the Google car can only get this close.
Hmm. The AA and forts across the highway seem to indicate a military presence but there is almost no security between the highway and the portals. Odd.
1) Be sure to include a "More Info" link when possible.
2) The thumbnail must match your URL. In your case the URL was not Street View but the thumbnail was.
3) Finally, be sure your thumbnail is 150 x 150 pixels and does not include any labels. In your case you included a rectangular screenshot that included labels.
You can submit a new thumbnail by clicking on the Google button under "Update Imagery" on...

I'm seeing this more in my travels lately. In Paris for instance two of the bridges had solid walls of these locks in sections. I wonder how it started. Was there some movie or pop song or music video? I feel like I'm an old man out of the loop on popular culture. Oh, wait... I AM an old man out of the loop.

Sadly the quality of comments on slashdot has deteriorated to the point where the better discussion is on Wired. :(
