Should've sat on this one until the next scavenger hunt? ;)

The cross is lit from within by what appear to be hundreds of halogen lights. Surely it must be clearly visible from the moon?

Hardy har har.

Actually, it is pretty damn funny. I never found a good wreck. Of course, buy 'good wreck' I mean one that would've counted but where no one was lying dead in the street. Kind of a morbid / sadistic scavenger hunt item really. I mean, why not just make it 'a person on fire' or 'animals clearly attacking humans'?! ;)

Hehe, I'm not looking for special treatment. I'm still searching and hopefully I'll come up with a clear example else I'll settle for a second-place tie, no prob! :)

Nice photo glitch! It almost looks as if it's shaking apart like this one famously did?!

The world's largest sundial? The wreck of a needle shaped alien spacecraft being uncovered in the desert? An enormous geoglyphic art piece meant to confuse and astound VGT users?

What is this thing?!!!

scalpod pictureGiants Springs State Park
Home to the Roe River, the "shortest river in the world". The title was shared by the D River in Lincoln City, Oregon for many years. However, a successful campaign by local elementary school students put the Roe in the Guinness Book of World Records as the official title holder:

To be fair, the Guiness Book of World Records lists the Roe River as the shortest, though both have been measured at varying lengths at different times...

You can find the Roe River in Giant Springs State Park in Montana, as submitted by mrjonmeyers here:

The museum also houses an incredibly deep and rich collection of chess sets from around the world as well as exhibits focusing on the native peoples of the area. The grounds are home to a great many peacocks, including several albino birds. It is a long drive to reach, but well worth the time to spend an afteroon picnicing and enjoying the museum and Stonehenge replica.

scalpod pictureHoward Hughes H-4 Hercules (inside)
Yes, that is a Titan II rocket nestled up next to it and a Blackbird (and drone) sheltered under one wing. The Evergreen Aviation Museum houses an incredible number of aircraft and no matter where you are inside, it's nearly impossible to get the full Spruce Goose into frame... Truly amazing and well worth the stop if you're ever in the area?

Was there recently, forgive the cameraphone panorama. At least it gives you some sense of the space inside? Enjoy!

It's funny and frustrating that they've updated the images just a few hundred meters to the east of the location. You can now see the landing strip to the SE quite clearly, as well as all of Claraville to the south... My pyramid illusion stands for now! Hahahaha

I was waaaay off in thinking this was the Gympie Pyramid folks as Gympie is on the east coast, near Tin Can Bay north of Brisbane. I have no clue which one this is, but I think it's clearly a pyramid!
