Is map scroll turned off my default now? Usually when I was on a google maps page it would auto scroll in and out if needed, but now it looks like I have to check a box at the bottom of the page to scroll the map. Is there a way to auto-check it permanently?

Sorry the default here got changed unintentionally.
For desktop, I've restored the scroll-map-by-default behavior.
If you're on mobile, where the map takes up the whole width (width < 750px), then scroll-by-default is off. This is so it's easier to swipe/scroll to below the map if you want.
