On Sunday 11th September 2022, Jackson PY6GOE, a radio amateur from Brazil reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 8 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
