The standard engine for the 1969 Pontiac Bonneville, one of the largest and most luxurious Pontiacs ever built along with the Grand Ville, was a 360 hp 428 cubic inch (7 liter) engine, being replaced by a 455 cubic inch (7.5 liter) engine the following year.
