1999-2000 Honda CBR600F4

1999-2000 Honda CBR600F4

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA), US
The original CBR600F4, produced in 1999 and 2000, was the last of the CBR600 sportbikes to be carbureted. Modifications included an aluminum twin-spar frame to reduce weight, and larger valves, a shorter stroke and a bigger bore, increasing the RPM. Fireblade parts were also used for the suspension, and inside the upper faring reads ""Dedicated to Super Evaluators Dirk Vandenberg and Josef Boyd", in embossed letters, paying tribute to the two R&D senior product developers who were killed while testing the bike. A revised F4, the CBR600F4i, which had fuel injection, replaced it for 2001.
