2003 BMW Alpina V8 Roadster

2003 BMW Alpina V8 Roadster (StreetView)
The Alpina V8 Roadster was the final iteration of the small-scale Z8 sports car inspired by the 507 of the late 1950s. This model was more grand touring-oriented than its sports car predecessor, coming with a 5-speed BMW Steptronic automatic transmission and a softer suspension, and the interior was redone as well, using softer Nappa leather. While the engine power was reduced to 375 hp, torque rose to 383 lb-ft, being available at a much lower RPM for a more relaxed ride.

With most units bound for the United States (444 units and Alpina's first car officially sold there) and Japan (between 70 and 90 units), this car is extremely rare outside these markets.
