In North America, these Mazda 6 station wagons were marketed as "Sport Wagons." Canada got it after America did, in which it was released for 2003 in the U.S. and 2004 for Canada. Three variants of the MZR I4 engine were available, and exclusive to those two markets was a 3-liter MZI V6. While the wagon is still being produced for Canada, this is the only generation of the Mazda 6 Wagon that arrived on U.S. shores, and it's terrible that here in America, society is forcing us to either to buy one crossover after another, or use the crowded buses, and it's all because we're treating cars more like appliances here!
