A fire and a number of explosions killed a large number of people at a container facility on the outskirts of Sitakunda near the city of Chittagong.

Ruhul Amin Sikder a spokesman for the Bangladesh Inland Container Association (BICA) reported as saying that some of the containers at the facility contained chemicals, including hydrogen peroxide.
