Analaitivu (Tamil: அனலைதீவு, romanized: Aṉalaitīvu; Sinhala: අන්නලදූව Annaladūva) is an island off the coast of the Jaffna peninsula in northern Sri Lanka, located about 25 km W of the city of Jaffna. AKA Rotterdam during Dutch colonial rule, the island has an area of 4.82 sq km. The island is divided into 2 Village Officer Divisions (Analaitivu North and Analaitivu South) whose combined population was 1,781 at the 2012 census.
