On Tuesday 28th June 2022 the nzherald website reported that the Novotel Hotel at Auckland Airport had been named as one of the world’s best airport hotels. The hotel won the accolade although it had been closed for over 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The title ‘third best airport accommodation in the Pacific’ was won by the hotel at the 2022 SkyTrax Awards in Paris

The modern contemporary hotel which is the closest to the airport is thoroughly soundproofed and has 263 rooms. It provides high quality of service to its guests including all-day dining.
