This is the location of the Big Brother house in series one and two. Live broadcasting was often interrupted by viewers shouting secrets from the public right of way along the water's edge. There was also a break-in during series two. Contestants left the house and walked across the bridge and into 3 Mills Studios where the audience, the production base, editing and mixing rooms, stages used for live broadcasts and everything else involved in the production of the show was housed. The show moved to Elstree Studios in 2002 after Newham London Borough Council requested the site return to its natural habitat.
