On Thursday 24th August 2023, Patrick K7GUD, a radio amateur from Victor, ID reached the summit of Borah Peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 47 contacts in total working on the 40m, 30m, 20m and 15m amateur radio bands.
