Braniff Flight 352 crash site

My cousin was in that flight. He was working and decided to take earlier flight that day. He and his family had plans to go to their lake house for the weekend. In addition to his job he was a talented singer/writer/musician. He had just released his first album with single called Suddenly. He played and sang with a lot of country voices before they became huge talents. He certainly had a musical future and writing would have afforded him a musical future. My dad went to Dawson with his uncle to try to identify his remains. Will never forget that awful rainy night and my father crying. His name was Ed McDuff he is proceeded in death by his wife and one son. His two beautiful talented daughters and another with special needs still live in this area today. Our family was never the same from that day on. Our family of music lost its bright son. His parents never fully recovered. A very personal tragedy to us in this aviation history.
Let us never forget what this field in Dawson Texas means to us. God Bless the families.

The marker is actually on highway 709 which is definitely the more traveled road. On the right, just before the big farm property.
