Bristol Temple Meads railway station has been in existence since the middle of the 19th century serving three rail franchises. The platforms are built on a curve with the tracks at the north trending east/west and those at the southern end trending north/south. Eight tracks pass through the station that has platforms numbered 1 to 15. The station is a Grade I listed building.
