On Sunday 10th July 2022 Marc DO1MJ/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Brocken and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 12 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF amateur radio band.
