On Tuesday 26th March 2024 at 10:13 UTC, Lacy YO6CFB, a radio amateur from Romania made contact with Mike S55G/P, a radio amateur from Slovenia, who was operating from Bukovnik - Divaca (S5FF-0315), on the 20m amateur radio band.
Bukovnik - Divaca (S5FF-0315), is a protected area of 3 hectares located to the southwest of Ljubljana in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia near the Italian border. It was designated as a Natural Monument in 1992 and is a Category III IUCN Management area.
An IUCN Management Category III area is an area set aside to protect a specific natural monument in this case the Škocjan Caves which contain the world's largest underground canyon. The caves are listed by UNESCO as a Natural and cultural World Heritage Site.
