While there hasn't been an Eldorado convertible after 1985, when ASC stopped aftermarket conversions for it, a false impression of a convertible had been made thanks to the offering of vinyl roofs for these Cadillacs. However, a Florida-based company known as Coach Builders Limited had been converting vinyl-roof Eldorados into convertibles, for Eldorado owners to relive its past as a convertible up to 1966.
