On Saturday 9th July 2022 Fraser MM0EFI/P a radio amateur from Scotland reached the summit of Cairn Toul and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 44 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF amateur radio band.
