On Friday 2nd June 2023, Simon VA2NM/W1, a radio amateur from Verdun, QC reached the summit of Carter Dome and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 30 contacts in total working on the 2m,40, 20m and 15m amateur radio bands.
