On Sunday 7th April 2024, Brian W6BFT, a radio amateur from Charlotte, NC reached the summit of Celo Knob and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 18 contacts in total working on the 40m, 20m and 10m amateur radio bands.
