On Saturday 19th August 2023, Alex IN3YKS, a radio amateur from Italy, reached the summit of Cima di Fradusta and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 14 contacts in total working on the 40m, 30m and 20m amateur radio bands.
