On Tuesday 19th July 2022 Henry IW3AGO/P a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Cima Pisciadù and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 44 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Cima Pisciadù is 2985 metres (9793 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
