On Friday 15th July 2022 Ron K6RIN a radio amateur from Simi Valley, CA reached the summit of Clem Nelson Peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 20 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
