The Column of Constantine is a Roman monumental column built for Constantine the Great and dedicated on May 11, 330 AD. It is 35 meters high or about 115 feet high and is the oldest Constantinian monument in Istanbul. The column is also known as the burnet column as it has survived at least three fires, the latest being in 1779.
