On Saturday 15th July 2023, Manuel IN3EHQ, a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Croda Rossa di Sesto / Sextener Rotwand and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 20 contacts in total working on the 40m, 20m, 17m and 15m amateur radio bands.
