The Crumlin Road Courthouse stands opposite the Crumlin Road Gaol with the two being connected by a tunnel running beneath the Crumlin Road. The courthouse closed in 1998 after 150 years of use and, although listed, has badly deteriorated following two roof fires. Plans are underway to convert the courthouse into a hotel.
