Apparently this roadkill deer was moved onto the grass after it met its demise after being struck by a car while crossing a rural Pennsylvania road. It has yet to be consumed by the decomposers or scavengers searching for animal carcasses.

Fact: Pennsylvania is the state in which the most vehicle collisions involving deer occur.
