The Devil's Bridge is located in the deepest part of the Vortan River Canyon in an area with many volcanic springs.

The Devil's Bridge is a natural structure formed from a type of limestone deposited around mineral springs known as travertine. Over many aeons of time the this limestone has accumulated to the stone arch which the Devils Bridge.

The mineral rich waters from the hot springs have formed stalactites which hang below the bridge.
