On Sunday 17th July 2022 Andrij UW8SM/P a radio amateur from Ukraine reached the summit of Кукуль (Kukul) and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 17 contacts in total working on the 6 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
