Dolly (July 5. 1996 – February 14. 2003) was a sheep that became famous because it was the first cloned animal. It was born in the Roslin Institute south of Edinburgh where it lived all it's life.

It was named after country singer Dolly Parton.

It's on display at the National Museum of Scotland
