Donald George "Don" Powell, the drummer of legendary English Glam-Rock band Slade lives in this house at Sejs near Silkeborg with his Danish wife Hanne and her 3 children. He met Hanne in 2001 at a Slade concert in Silkeborg and fell in love with her.

When not touring with Slade he is teaching drumming at a local youth school and he now and then plays the drums at a local brass band, Blæserne fra Skægkær at Silkeborg
