Drury Lane Burial Ground

Drury Lane Burial Ground

London, United Kingdom (GB)
This was the burial ground of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. When the burial ground was used, it was overcrowded and had a bad reputation. The cemetery was converted into a public garden and a small playground is built on the site. The red brick mortuary, lodge and the original gates are still there and some of the gravestones have been moved to the back and are still there today.

Being a pedant, it is "Drury Lane" - not "Dury Lane". I have added some photos of the entrance.
