On Sunday 11th September 2022, Jiho DS5SQS and Chul 6K5XZE, two radio amateurs from South Korea reached the summit of 옥돌봉 (Okdolbong) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 16 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 amateur radio bands.
