Eureka Valley is in Inyo County, eastern California. It is about 45 km long and up to 16 km wide, with elevations varying from 875 m up to 2575 m. The southern section of the valley is part of the Death Valley National Park.

Designated a National Natural Landmark in 1983 due to being the tallest dune complex in the Great Basin.
