On Friday 29th March 2024 at 13:11 UTC, Zdenko 9A4FM, a radio amateur from Croatia, made contact with Michal OK1SIM/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from EVL Hrádecká bahna (OKFF-3129), on the 40m amateur radio band. Michal made a total of 69 contacts while at the reserve.
EVL Hrádecká bahna (OKFF-3129)[Castle mud],is a protected area of 2.7414 hectares lying to the east of Pilsen in the west of the Czech Republic. It was designated in 1989 as a Nature Monument and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
