On Friday 29th March 2024 at 10:37 UTC, Francois ON4LO, a radio amateur from Belgium, made contact with Mira OK2MG/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from PP Andrejsky (OKFF-1203), on the 40m amateur radio band. Mira made a total of 55 contacts while at the reserve.
PP Andrejsky (OKFF-1203), is a protected area of 2 hectares lying to the south-east of Pilsen in the west of the Czech Republic. It was designated in 1975 as a Nature Monument and is an IUCN Management Category III area.
An IUCN Management Category III area is set aside to protect a specific natural monument, in this case a weathered boulder ridge with interesting rock formations known as "rock city".
