Ferrari 575M Maranello

Ferrari 575M Maranello

Kokomo, Indiana (IN), US
Released in 2002, the Ferrari 575M Maranello (M standing for "modificato", Italian for "modified") was a revision of the 550 Maranello with a more powerful V12 producing 28 more horsepower, increasing the total to 508 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque allowing for a 202 mph top speed, but a F1 electrohydraulic manual transmission was standard in these grand tourers. 2005 introduced the GTC Handling Package with improved Brembo brakes and suspension and the Superamerica convertible further bringing up the power to 533 hp. The rare 6-speed manual-equipped models are especially coveted among collectors and may fetch at least $250,000, despite all 550 Maranellos having such transmission.
