Floyd Casey Stadium is a stadium in Waco, Texas. It is primarily used for football, and is the home field of the Baylor Bears. Floyd Casey Stadium is about four miles from the Baylor campus. Floyd Casey Stadium was built in 1950 and cost $1.8 million dollars to construct. It opened under the name Baylor Stadium in 1950 with a game against Houston, won by Baylor 34-7, and has room for 50,000 people. In a 2006 game against Texas A&M University, the modern attendance record of 51,385 was established.
