Holbron Station was like Aldwych Tram Station. Holborn had a small island platform with one track on each side. The site is enterable from the Southampton Row Ramp. The platform and the orignial rails are still where they were left.
However the station was used for filming of the film "The Escapist" as the fake underground station called Union Street which was supposed to be on the Elephant & Castle tube line in the film. Most of the props used for the film are still at the location, but are NOT remains of the real station as the props are from 2008.
