On Saturday 9th July 2022 Charlie NJ7V a radio amateur from Mesa, AZ reached the summit of Fortynine Hill and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 12 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
