George Edward Clinton, (July 22, 1941) is an American musician and record producer known for his time with Parliament and Funkadelic. He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and received a received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award as one of the foremost innovators of Funk music.
