Closed completely: 27.7.1964

Present state: The main station building including the short canopy over the platform is extant on the "up" platform and the waiting shelter on the "down" platform are both extant as is the west end of the "up" platform and most of the "down" platform. The buildings are largely unaltered and there is still a sign on the wall which says "Cross the bridge by the footbridge only". The coal drops behind the "up" platform are used as garages. The brick goods shed is also still standing and behind it the base of the crane and the cattle dock also survive.
