In 2006, Mama Lena's Pizza House set the Guinness World Record for the largest commercially available pizza. "The Big One" measured about 3 feet by 4 1/2 feet (1.3 square meters) and was on the menu for $100. The 150-slice creation was made with 20 pounds of dough, 1 gallon of sauce, and 15 pounds of cheese.
Today, the restaurant is named Krazy Brothers, and the pizza is now known as "The Big Krazy" and costs $175.
The record is currently held by Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria in Los Angeles. Their creation measures 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 feet and costs $200.
