Gwernvale (Long Barrow)

Gwernvale (Long Barrow)

Crickhowell, United Kingdom (GB)
Gwernvale is a long barrow dating back to the Neolithic era located in Wales. The long barrow was quite an impressive site back when it was first constructed. The barrow consisted of a long barrow, dummy portal, four burial chambers and kerbstones. The majority of the site has been destroyed as the busy A40 now runs directly through the site. Only a few stones from the eastern chamber remain at the roadside today.
