David Kelly was a Welsh scientist and authority on biological warfare. In July 2003, his body was found in this small patch of woodland known as Harrowdown Hill. The coroner ruled Kelly's death a suicide, but some believe he was the victim of murder. Evidence relating to Kelly's death will remain secret for 70 years. His remains were exhumed in June 2017 and reportedly cremated.
